Precautions for filter accessories mainly include the following aspects:
Filter element replacement and maintenance:
Replacement timing: When the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the precision filter is greater than 0.05Mpa or the flow rate drops significantly, the filter element should be replaced. For some filter elements, such as bag filter elements and polypropylene filter elements, they cannot be used repeatedly and special attention should be paid.
Replacement steps: After shutdown, remove the upper manhole cover, unscrew the clamping nut of the filter element, remove the pressure plate to remove the filter element, clean the inside of the equipment and insert the new filter element. The new filter element needs to be soaked for half an hour before use to make it wet.
Installation and maintenance:
Installation steps: Thoroughly clean the filter housing, insert the filter element vertically into the filter element seat jack, and ensure that the O-ring is intact and in place. After installation, open the water inlet valve and exhaust valve, close the exhaust valve after the water fills the equipment, and observe that there is no white foam in the water before it can be put into normal operation.
Precautions for use: Pressure shock should be prevented during operation, and reverse pressurization is prohibited. If the filter is not working temporarily, the filter element should be soaked in a suitable sterilizing solution and rinsed before reuse.
Material selection and maintenance:
Material selection: The material of the filter is generally selected to be the same as the material of the process pipeline to which it is connected. Common materials include cast iron, carbon steel, low alloy steel or stainless steel, etc.
Maintenance: Clean the impurities in the filter regularly to prevent the pressure drop from increasing and the flow rate from decreasing. Pay special attention to the stainless steel wire mesh not being deformed or damaged, otherwise it will affect the filtering effect.
