Synthetic Press-Mesh Pre-Filter Media
Synthetic press-mesh media is mainly used for primary air filtration. It is easy to cut and handle, making it suitable for filter pads, simple pre-filter frames and fresh air intake sections.
It is often used in AHU pre-filter sections, ventilation equipment and general dust protection. The press-mesh surface helps the media keep a more stable shape during handling, especially when it is cut into pads or installed into a frame.
This material is a practical choice when the project needs a simple and economical pre-filter media.
Single-Side Calendered Filter Media
Single-side calendered filter media has one smoother surface after calendering. It is often selected when the buyer needs better surface consistency for cutting, layering or filter pad production.
It can be used for pre-filter pads, replacement sheets and general ventilation filter layers. The calendered side should be checked according to the final filter structure and installation method.
This material should not be treated as a fixed efficiency grade unless test data is available for the selected media.


DPA Paint Mist Filter Media
DPA paint mist media is used for dry spray booth exhaust filtration and paint mist capture. It is more suitable for coating and painting applications than normal HVAC pre-filter media.
It may be used in dry spray booths, industrial coating lines, furniture painting areas and paint pocket filter production. The actual paint holding performance depends on the media structure, airflow, paint type and booth operation.
For normal fresh air filtration, synthetic pre-filter media is usually a more suitable choice.
Biochemical Filter Mat
Biochemical filter mat is a pad-type media used in specific filtration applications. Because different markets may use this name in different ways, the working condition should be confirmed before quotation.
Please provide the application, size, airflow, moisture condition and replacement method. This helps avoid using the wrong material for the wrong system.


G4–F9 Double-Layer Non-Woven Pocket Filter Media
This double-layer non-woven media is used for making pocket bag filters. It can be selected for different filtration requirements, depending on the media structure and available test data.
It is suitable for pocket filter production, AHU filter replacement and medium-efficiency HVAC filtration. For older project specifications, buyers may still use G4–F9 as a reference. For newer international projects, ISO 16890 data may be required.
The finished filter grade depends not only on the media, but also on pocket depth, pocket number, airflow, filter size and testing method.
Glass Fiber Pocket Filter Media
Glass fiber pocket filter media is used when the filter design requires glass fiber media instead of synthetic media.
It is commonly used for pocket bag filters, medium-efficiency HVAC filters and pre-HEPA filtration stages. The final pressure drop, efficiency and dust holding behavior should be confirmed by the finished filter design and test data.
For replacement projects, an old media sample or finished filter specification is helpful.

How to Choose the Right Media
Most buyers choose filter media based on how it will be used after delivery.
For fresh air pre-filtration, synthetic press-mesh media or calendered media is usually considered first.
For dry spray booth exhaust, DPA paint mist media is more suitable.
For pocket bag filter production, non-woven pocket filter media or glass fiber pocket filter media should be selected according to the target grade and filter design.
