Installation & Mounting Guide

1. Check airflow direction

Locate the airflow arrow marked on the frame (or, if there is no arrow, use the pleat orientation: air should flow from the more open side to the denser side of the mesh).Make sure the arrow points in the same direction as the airflow inside the duct or AHU.

2. Prepare the holding frame

Stop the fan and ensure there is no negative pressure in the unit before opening the access door.Slide out the old pre filter or blank panel from the filter track.Wipe the sealing surfaces and rails to remove loose dust and debris so the new pre pleat air filter can sit flat and seal properly.

3. Insert the filter

Hold the filter by the frame, not by the mesh, to avoid bending the pleats.Align the long sides of the frame with the tracks or retaining clips in the unit.Slide the filter in smoothly until the frame touches the back stop or gasket.

If your frame uses clips or thumb screws, lock them in place so the filter cannot rattle or move when the fan starts.

4. Check for gaps and leaks

Visually confirm that all four sides of the frame are fully inside the track and sitting square.Make sure there are no visible gaps where unfiltered air could bypass the metal mesh pre filter.Close the access door and restart the fan; listen for unusual vibration that might indicate a loose filter.
