Installation Notes (Wall Pass-Through)

An air shower pass box provides a controlled pass-through between clean zones. Before the opposite door can open, the unit runs a short air-jet cycle to help remove loose particles from the item surface. Interlocked doors prevent "both-sides open" events that can cause airflow mixing.

How It Works

Door interlock engaged: only one door can open at a time.

Item placed inside and door closed.

Air-jet cycle runs for the set duration (time adjustable).

HEPA filtration keeps recirculated air clean during the cycle.

Exit door unlocks after the cycle completes.

nstallation Notes (Wall Pass-Through)

This unit is designed for wall-mounted pass-through installation between two zones. To reduce site rework, we recommend confirming the following items before production.

1) Wall Opening & Fit-Up (Most common installation issues)

Wall thickness / pass-through depth: must match your site wall and cladding layers

Rough opening size: confirm the required cutout based on the GA drawing

Level & square: an uneven opening can affect door alignment and gasket sealing

Mounting method (choose one):

Flush mount: clean look, often used in cleanrooms

Flange mount: easier fixing and sealing around the wall opening

2) Door Orientation & Workflow

Confirm door swing direction on both sides (left/right) and clearance for operators.

Confirm traffic flow: where items enter, where they exit, and whether trolley access is required.

If your process requires it, specify a status indicator (running / complete / door unlock).

3) Sealing & Integration (Prevent bypass and leakage)

Seal around the unit perimeter using site-approved sealing materials.

Confirm that the finished wall surface meets the unit frame evenly to avoid gaps.

If your facility uses pressure cascades, keep door sealing and interlock logic consistent with the room pressure strategy.

4) Electrical & Control Interface

Confirm voltage & frequency (e.g., 110V/60Hz, 220V/50Hz) and grounding requirements.

Confirm cable entry location (bottom/side/top) based on site routing.

If your site requires it, specify:

Auto-start (door sensor)

Emergency stop (E-stop)

DP gauge / DP transmitter output for maintenance monitoring

5) Service Access (Don't ignore this)

Filter replacement and fan service require access. Please confirm your preferred maintenance side:

Front service (common)

Top service (when floor space is limited)

Rear service (if wall backside is accessible)

Pre-Installation Checklist (Quick)

✅ Confirm GA drawing and rough opening size

✅ Confirm wall thickness and mounting method (flush/flange)

✅ Confirm door swing direction and operator clearance

✅ Confirm power supply and cable routing

✅ Confirm service access for HEPA / fan / prefilter (if used)

Commissioning Checklist (At Site)

Interlock works: only one door can open at a time

Cycle runs: start/stop, timer, indicators

Doors close smoothly and gaskets seal evenly

No abnormal noise or vibration during operation

If DP monitoring is installed: DP reading is stable and baseline is recorded

Products Description

Maintenance frequency depends on upstream cleanliness, transfer frequency, and whether a prefilter is installed. For predictable maintenance, we recommend adding DP monitoring (analog DP gauge or digital DP indicator).

Recommended Maintenance Strategy (Simple and reliable)

Option A: Time-based maintenance (basic)
Inspect filters and gaskets on a schedule (weekly/monthly/quarterly depending on usage).

Option B: DP-based maintenance (recommended)
Use a DP gauge to track loading and replace filters when DP reaches your project's trigger level. This reduces guesswork and avoids premature replacement.

Routine Inspection Items

Prefilter (if installed): dust loading, physical damage, seating

HEPA: check DP trend (if monitored), check for damage during service

Door gaskets: cracks, deformation, loss of elasticity

Interlock: verify mutual interlock function remains stable

Nozzles & chamber: wipe down surfaces; ensure no blockage

Fan operation: listen for abnormal noise; confirm stable airflow

Typical Maintenance Actions (Field-friendly)

Cleaning

Wipe chamber surfaces with lint-free wipes and approved cleaning agent

Avoid abrasive tools that scratch stainless surfaces

Keep the door seal area clean to maintain sealing performance

Filter replacement (general steps)

Power off and follow site lockout/tagout procedures

Open service access panel (as agreed: front/top/rear)

Remove prefilter (if used), then replace HEPA as required

Check gasket seating and close panels securely

Run a test cycle and record baseline DP (if monitored)

Note: Filter disposal and packaging should follow local facility and environmental requirements.

What to Record (helps GMP/EPC projects)

Baseline DP after new filter installation (if DP monitoring is used)

Replacement date, batch/serial info (if available), and technician name

Any abnormal findings (gasket wear, interlock alignment issues)

Recommended Spare Parts (for overseas projects)

Prefilter set (if installed)

HEPA replacement set

Door gasket set

Interlock components (as project option)

Indicator lamp / basic electrical consumables (optional)

Troubleshooting (Quick)

Door won't unlock: check interlock status, cycle completion, and door alignment

Noise increases: check fan mounting, filter loading (DP), nozzle blockage

Reduced performance: check prefilter loading, HEPA seating, gasket condition

Packaging & Logistics

For international delivery, each Air Shower Pass Box is protected with foam padding, corner guards, and a moisture-resistant wrap, then packed in an export-grade plywood crate to prevent scratches, vibration, and deformation during long-distance transport. The crate structure is reinforced and strapped to keep the equipment stable during forklift handling and container loading. Clear shipping marks (model, direction, fragile/keep dry labels) are applied on the outside, and we can share packing photos before shipment for your records.

After-Sales Commitment

We support your project beyond delivery, with practical after-sales service designed for overseas installation and long-term operation.

1) Quick technical response
If you have questions during installation or commissioning, our team can provide remote support (email/WhatsApp/video) to help you confirm wiring, interlock logic, cycle settings, and troubleshooting steps.

2) Documentation for operation and maintenance
We provide an O&M manual and wiring diagram, and can supply GA drawings and a spare parts list for your maintenance plan. If your project requires additional acceptance items, share your URS and we will align the document pack accordingly.

3) Spare parts & consumables
To reduce downtime for international customers, we can recommend and supply a spare parts kit with the shipment (prefilter/HEPA set, door gasket, interlock parts, indicator lamps). Replacement parts are matched to your unit configuration for like-for-like fit.

4) Warranty & service guidance
Warranty terms are provided with the quotation. During the warranty period, we offer troubleshooting guidance and replacement-part support for issues related to manufacturing defects. For non-warranty situations, we still assist with diagnosis and provide cost-effective part solutions.

5) Maintenance training (optional)
Upon request, we can share a simple maintenance checklist covering filter replacement, gasket inspection, interlock checks, and baseline DP recording (if DP monitoring is installed).

What we need for faster support
Order/serial number, photos or a short video, and a description of the issue (alarm status, cycle behavior, DP reading if available).
